Our Services

Faster Recovery and Results

Our goal oriented team approach to physical therapy means that physician, physical therapist, and patient work together to achieve maximum results. Patients who have prompt, appropriate treatment following an injury or surgery will realize a faster recovery and will be able to return to daily activities sooner and with greater satisfaction. All new patients will be treated within 24 hours of evaluation.

Evaluation and Treatment

Each patient receives a thorough comprehensive examination to identify specific needs and goals that will determine the treatment plan, using all the latest treatment techniques. Physicians are kept informed of the patient’s progress via phone or faxed/mailed reports.

OSR believes that patient education is a vital component to success and each individual will be advised on his/her condition and the appropriate course of suitable treatment.

Every patient is unique and will require different types of treatment. OSR believes that by involving the patient in the process it will insure success from “hands on treatment” to an independent home exercise program. Home exercise is a critical part of any successful physical therapy process and allows patients to realize new goals and have the desire to reach a higher level of daily activity.

Do I need a referral?

1. When a physician prescribes physical therapy, YOU, the patient, can decide where to receive your physical therapy. Think of having a prescription for physical therapy filled just as you would a prescription for medicine. Where you go is your choice.

 2. You can be treated by a physical therapist without a medical prescription. As of August 1, 2008, the state of MN allows patients to be treated for 90 calendar days without a prescription from a licensed medical physician.
